Stop the Killing Initiative
At Black Owned Roofing Company Quote, we are much more than a roofing company. We are a company guided by a Vision to assist our community with sound business strategies that improve the standard of living of our customers and those that we employ.
However, we see a common denominator among all major cities where we have been fortunate enough to work - crime and violence. It saddens us to often work where our elderly cannot enjoy their golden years with any peace due to crime in their communities. We see children afraid to walk to school or ride their bicycle on their own street due to violence in their neighborhoods. We have seen the pain and the hurt.
We cannot accept this reality as normal. Our children deserve and must have a better future. At Black Owned Roofing Company Quote, we are implementing the Stop the Killing Initiative. It starts in Chicago. Our initiative is two fold - curtail crime and put our young people to work. We have seen how providing an opportunity for someone to earn an honest living instills dignity and hope. We have a long history of training individuals in the construction trades and have seen many move on to start their own business. We believe in the proverb "Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.”
We know and love Chicago. We've worked in Chicago for over 30 years. We know the city and know the people. From the Loop to Bronzeville, Hyde Park, South Shore, South Side, West Side, North Side & the suburbs of Dolton, Harvey and Waukegan, we've completed projects. One assignment consisted of painting the entire interiors of five Chicago Public Schools during the summer before school was to start. We completed all five schools on time and within budget.
We do need your support. A portion of the profit from any job that we have anywhere in the country will go toward our Stop the Killing Initiative. Many of the projects we do under the program will have no profit. Our aim is to create opportunities for individuals to get up in the morning and feel good about putting in a days work. We believe this will increase their self esteem to avoid a lifestyle of crime and violence. We thank those that have already provided their support and welcome the support of others. If we can save one life (and we probably already have), our Stop the Killing Initiative is well worth the effort. Thank you for your time.
